My Day
My day usually starts at 6:30 in the morning. I wake up and brush my teeth. Then I wash my face and get dressed. I have breakfast with my family at 7:00. My mom usually makes pancakes or eggs. We all sit at the table and chat while we eat.
After breakfast, I go to school. I usually ride the bus, but sometimes my dad drives me. I get to school at 8:30 and have classes until 3:00. I have seven classes each day, including math, English, science and gym. I like English class the most because I love reading and writing.
During lunch break, I eat with my friends in the cafeteria. We talk about our classes and what we are going to do after school. Sometimes we trade sandwiches or snacks.
After school, I usually have soccer practice. I love playing soccer and practice helps me get better. I go home at 5:00, take a shower and have dinner with my family. We all sit at the table and talk about our day.
After dinner, I do my homework and study for tests. Sometimes my friends come over and we work on assignments together. When I am finished with my homework, I watch TV or play video games for a little while.
I go to bed at 10:00 every night. I read a book or listen to music to help me fall asleep. As I close my eyes and drift off to sleep, I think about my day and how much I learned and accomplished.
